Privacy policy

Pursuant to Article 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), publ. Official Journal of the EU L No. 119, p. 1 as corrected:

  1. The Administrator of your personal data is the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) (address: Al. Racławickie 14, 20-950 Lublin, e-mail address of the university: kul@kul.pl and phone number: 81 445 41 01.), represented by the Rector.
  2. The administrator has appointed a data protection officer who can be contacted: a) by a telephone number: +48 81 445 32 30; b) via e-mail adress: iod@kul.pl
  3. Personal data will be processed for the purpose of organizing the Three Seas Universities Network towards the challenges of science and the region conference.
  4. The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (the data subject has consented to the processing of his/her personal data).
  5. Personal data will be processed only for the period necessary for the purpose of processing, i.e. for the duration of the organization, proceedings and promotion of the conference Three Seas Universities Network towards the challenges of science and the region.
  6. Personal data will be disclosed to persons acting under the authority of the administrator and having access to the data, processing them only on the instructions of the administrator. The administrator will disclose the personal data of active conference participants on the website of KUL. In addition, personal data will be disclosed to users of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as to providers of these services.
  7. Personal data will be transferred to a third country, which is the United States of America (in connection with the processing of data via the aforementioned social networks). The European Commission has not issued a decision finding an adequate level of data protection for this third country.
  8.  In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the following rights: a) the right to access your personal data; b) the right to rectification of data; c) the right to erasure of data; d) the right to restrict processing; e) the right to withdraw consent at any time; f) file a complaint to the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (2 Stawki Street, 00 – 193 Warsaw).
